Is it same #EndSARS protesters we've been watching conducting protests like community renewal program that will break a prison? Oby Ezekwesili asks


 Former Presidential candidate, Oby Ezekwesili has reacted to recent jail break in Benin, Edo state's capital amid the #EndSARS protest. 

 

The former Minister of Education who rubbished claims of #EndSARS protesters leading the jail break, also stressed the need for President Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to protect the rights of protesters. 

 

Oby Ezekwesili further accused the government of coming up with out-dated strong-arm tactics.

 

She tweeted; 

 

While young #EndSARS citizens point the country toward an innovative future that can compare to global standards, their government acts in opposite direction with their out-dated strong-arm tactics. What’s that game in Benin all about, @ProfOsinbajo @MBuhari ? Please stop.

I hope@NigeriaGov , Presidency @NGRPresident @MBuhari and his VP @ProfOsinbajo are aware of the international mechanisms the world now has for handling state-sanctioned crimes. Step up now and protect the rights of the #EndSARS  protesters nationwide. You are not leading now.

Is it the same #EndSARS protesters we have all been watching all week, conducting their protests almost like a community renewal program by looking out for one another; that will suddenly go and break a prison in Benin? Please stop the expensive joke

Lady loses her life after falling into elevator shaft in a hotel in Asaba; Moment she fell caught on CCTV (WATCH)

  A Nigerian lady unfortunately met her demise after she fell into an elevator shaft inside a hotel in Asaba, the capital of Delta state. According to a Facebook user, the lady, identified as Adaobi Enechukwu, who is a native of Adazi Nnukwu had travelled down to Asaba for a wedding ceremony at an hotel and unknown to her, she walked right into the elevator shaft without waiting for the elevator to come to her floor yet. The elevator door, which was not supposed to be opened, was opened and made Adaobi lose her life. Nnamdi Ezewuzie, who shared the incident on his Facebook page, blamed the hotel’s management for lack of proper management. He wrote, She traveled to Asaba for a wedding ceremony on this hotel called Villa Toscana Hotel, along okpanam road, opposite Nigeria Police Headquarters, Adaobi Enechukwu annunciator, A native of Adazi Nnukwu met her death due to the carelessness of this hotel management that refused to work on their faulty elevator.. Nigerian couple celebrate birth of their triplets after 15 years of waiting.

 A Nigerian couple, Edegbo Enoch Bobby and Vivian Edogbo welcomed triplets after 15 years of waiting . Mr Edogbo, an architect, took to Facebook on Saturday, July 10, to share their journey from pregnancy, the birth of the children on January 21, 2021, to the thanksgiving and his wife's birthday celebrations held in Lekki, Lagos on Sunday, July 11.  "WORDS FAIL ME.... THANK YOU LORD FOR EVERYTHING. THE BIRTH OF OUR TRIPLETS... 21st January, 2021....AFTER 15 YEARS OF WAITING." he wrote.
